We respect the people behind the work
Artists, photographers, writers and the institutions that care for their work deserve credit and respect for their rights. We check each artwork's image permissions, keep its source and provide the required credits. We write our own editorial text.
We can still make mistakes, including when a source gives us incorrect information. If you spot a problem, we want to hear about it. Our rights and credits page explains how we choose and credit content.
02
Help us find the problem
Use the email button above and include:
- A link to the page or item. If you cannot link to it, send its title, artist or a screenshot so we can find it.
- What you think is wrong, with a source or supporting information if you have one. For a rights concern, tell us which rights are involved and whether you hold them or represent the holder.
- How we can reach you if we need more information. Replying to your email is enough.
You can report a factual error, a missing credit or another content concern even if you are not the rights holder.
03
We will look into it
We will read your message, check the content and the sources we relied on, and ask for more information if we need it. For a rights claim, we will take the item out of circulation while we review it, as set out in our rights policy.
If we got something wrong, we will correct the information, update the credit or remove the content as needed. We will reply to explain what we did. If our review leads us to a different conclusion, we will explain why.
